“Harmonic Essence” is the passion of Chris Toms. Based in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia. Chris was a performing musician for over 30 years, playing percussion and drums in multiple bands, as well as singing.
Chris is married and has 3 boys. He has wealth of experience with the stresses of life, children, high paying (and high stress) jobs and family trauma.
A few years ago, whilst in Bali, Chris and his wife were lucky enough to take part in an “Ancient Sound Healing Session”. It was a profound experience which changed his life right there and then. He knew immediately that this was what he had to do – show others the amazing power of Sound and Vibration for healing.
The sound healing was the missing link Chris had been searching for, for so many years. Dozens of self-help books, movies/documentaries, audiobooks, psychologist visits and hypnotherapy, had failed to truly root out the ever-present pain in his heart. The moment the sound bath hit its’ crescendo, he felt that he had been “cracked open” and the healing begun immediately.
Chris has since gone on to study with the Sound Healing Academy (International) in the UK, and is certified in the “Foundations of Integral Sound Healing – Multi Instruments”. He holds a “Practitioner Diploma In Integral Sound Healing – Multi Instrument“. His studies continue as he learns as much about the individual groups of instruments as he can.
Chris has the ability to take you to a place of piece, and harmony. His instruments create a soundscape that can not only take you deep within yourself, but also to a place, far away from the day to day hustle and bustle of life.
“I take great pleasure in taking you completely out of your life for a period, where you won’t be thinking of phones, emails, work, bills etc. I take you to a place where you will be completely lost in the moment and can TRULY relax and be at peace. This is the reason I do what I do. It is such an amazing thing. I love it.”
