Join us at the Dance Studio of Cornerstone College in Mt Barker for a soul soothing therapeutic Sound Bath performed by Harmonic Essence.
A Sound Bath, Sound Meditation or Sound journey is a sensory audio experience that is hard to describe in words. The sense of calm can be likened to many years of accumulated meditation practice – all at once entering your being – this feeling can remain with you for days into weeks in some instances.
To participate could not be easier. It takes very little effort on the part of the receiver. All that is required of the participant is for them to show up and either lie down (most cases) or for some; sit in a meditation posture or even a chair. A series of sounds from healing gongs, precious metal Himalayan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Healing Drums & Percussion, Heart Warming Vocal toning and Magical Hand Pan, take you on a journey unlike any other. Each experience is unique and there is no previous experience required.
A sound bath provides super food that creates relaxation, calms the nervous system, quiets the mind, stimulates hormones that heal and opens the door to deep meditative states by shutting off your body’s fight or flight reflex.
WHAT TO BRING:
Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Bring a yoga mat or comping mat.
Bring your favorite blanket/quilt and pillow.
For hydration bring a water bottle or thermos if you prefer.
